GENERAL MANAGER
As General Manager of Hospitality Group Training, Iain McDougall's key responsibilities include formulation of HGT's operational policies, strategic planning and resource management.
The development and enhancement of productive partnerships with relevant institutions is seen as a central role. Iain also liaises closely with government to ensure that HGT meets all legislative reporting requirements.
Creating a work environment of continuous improvement and ensuring quality Corporate Governance processes are utilised at Board level are also key priorities.

TRAINING DEPARTMENT
The training arm of HGT delivers comprehensive on and off-the-job training to hospitality and tourism employers, staff, students and trainees in all areas of hospitality.

FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT
HGT's Finance & Administration Department looks after the apprentice / trainee payroll and host employer / registered training organisation invoicing.

INDUSTRY SERVICES DEPARTMENT
The primary role of the Industry Services Department is to support and coordinate apprentices, trainees, school based trainees and host employers. Industry Consultants handle enquiries regarding apprenticeships, traineeships, off-the-job training and assist host employers with recruiting apprentices / trainees.
