Home >> Careers >> What is a Traineeship?

A traineeship normally lasts for 12 months and combines on and off-the-job training. Traineeships are nationally accredited and provide a stepping-stone to further employment or study opportunities. Traineeships are available full-time or part-time and the National Training Wage applies. The amount of off-the-job training will depend on previous training and the host employer's capacity to provide training in the workplace.
