WHAT IS GROUP TRAINING

 

The Group Training concept originated in the 1970s and is unique to Australia. Group Training companies place their apprentices and trainees with "host employers", usually small to medium-sized enterprises. Today, 120 of these companies service the industry with over 21,000 apprentices and trainees nationwide. Most group training companies receive a small amount of financial support from State and Federal governments to assist with administrative overheads.
